CORE autosport

Core

CORE autosport is the leading team in the American Le Mans LMP Challenge class.

In early 2010, Jon Bennett started the process of building a race team, a dream that had been in process for many years.
Without even a name for his new team, Manifest’s services were requested to develop a creative foundation for the team to
build on. Since then, Manifest has been responsible for creating a team presence that separates CORE autosport apart.

Identity

The name CORE autosport is derived from Bennett’s company, Composite Resources. The logo was created to have a timeless, professional look, avoiding the urge to design something that has initial impact but quickly becomes tiresome. The metallic version is used whenever possible, however more basic versions are available.

FLM09 Livery

The livery for 2011 was transferred from CORE’s Prototype Lites livery that Manifest developed for their partial 2010 season. While aesthetically the design met the teams requirements, it also had to accommodate unknown sponsor branding. Sponsor arrangements were not complete and exact logo placements were unsure. The finished product is a hybrid consisting of paint and vinyl.

The livery is placed on a custom illustration using both real elements of the base photo and digitally created areas wherever paint can be applied.

Team Brochure

The team brochure provides general information about the sport, series, team, etc., and is a useful tool for
securing driver positions or prospective partners. Generally, this piece is followed up with a more specific proposal.
